We announce the death of Mary Magdalen Roach–Baron, affectionately known as Marie Baron or Dada, age 93 of Backstreet, Grand Bay. She died on Thursday 8th June, 2023 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She will be remembered by her three (3) sons: Etienne, Johnson and Phillip Baron.
Seventeen (17) Grandchildren: Brenda and Alleyne Liverpool; Connie Defoe; Prisca John Rose; Sophie Harper; Gael Leatham; Lisha Paul; Chellie, McNairline, Nathalie, Christelle, Ziggy, Reon, Reenier and Jullson Baron; Thora Henry-Letang and Khadie Henry.
Thirty (30) Great-grandchildren and five (5) Great-great-grandchildren.
Siblings: Victoria Athanaze, Merlin, Pascal, John and Debra Roach.
Nieces and Nephews: Agus, Brazi, Joan, Cathy and Ella Athanaze.
Devoted Caretaker: Noeline Baron.
Other family members: Agatin (Sase) and family; Timothy and family; Ralph, other cousins, close friends and relatives here and abroad; names too numerous to mention.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 28th June, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Grand Bay Roman Catholic Sacred Space and followed by interment at the Grand Bay Catholic Cemetery.
