It is with profound sadness we announce the death of 76 year old Forbes U.T. Charles a.k.a. “Tightness” of Marigot, who passed away on Monday June 14, 2021 at the Dominica- China Friendship Hospital. Former employee of DOMLEC, and Umpire with the Dominica Cricket Association.
He is survived by 4 children- Sheryl, Dean, Sharina and Sarwan Charles. Five brothers – Stowell, Oliver, Edward, Caleb and Wentworth “WAC” Charles. Three sisters – Verdan “Marie”, Verona and Esther.
8 grand-children Adina, Dayne, Adayna, Chayelle, Makisha, Russell, and Rashaunda, Malisa. 7 Great-grand-children. 1 brother-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, friends and family both here and abroad names too numerous to mention. Close friends Stewart “Stewco” Paris, Clarice Williams.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at the Marigot Christian Union Church. Viewing will be at 2pm and service at 3pm. Interment will follow at the Marigot Christian Union cemetery at Hatten Garden.
