We announce the death of Ramona June Prince Jno. Baptiste better known as Ms June, of Zicack, Portsmouth. She died peacefully in her sleep at the new Age Residential Care Home in Glanvillia on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at the age of 70.
She was preceded in death by:
Her mother, Agatha Dupuis (Ma Poye), husband, Clement Jno. Baptiste, daughter Clemencia Jno. Baptiste and grandson Jayden Prince.
She is survived by:
5 children: Dr. Mervin Wallace, Eddy Prince, Natasha Peter, Corporal Amelia Browne of the Royal Antigua Police Force, and Daniel Jno. Baptiste
5 brothers: Roy Patrick, Connie (GoodLiving) Willard, Orson and Miller Dupuis
4 sisters: Felicia Scott, Nita James Brooker, Zetma and Zetillia Dupuis
1 Daughter-in-law: Daphney Roberts-Wallace
1 Son-in-Law: Glenroy Peter
11 Grandchildren: Diant, Kayon, Travis, Nahalia, Mervin Jr, Meleah, Jade, David, Amllon, J’Adore and Precious
2 Great-grandchildren: Kayra and Gabriella
Close cousins: Alick, Avondale and Elizabeth Lawrence, and Birdie Haughton; The extended Douglas family of Portsmouth. In-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews too numerous to mention.
Lifelong friends: Patricia Ettiene, Gwenneth George, President Charles Savarin, the Wallace and Thomas families of Portsmouth, the Corner and London families of Zicack. She will also be remembered by members of the Chance neighborhood, workers of DOWASCO, Portsmouth Branch, caregivers and residents of the Northern District Home for the Aged in Grange and New Age Residential Care Home in Glanvillia.
The celebration of life service of Ramona June Prince Jno. Baptiste better known as Ms. June will be held at the Portsmouth Catholic Church on Wednesday, February, 15th, 2023 at 3.00 pm followed immediately by interment at the Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. Viewing will precede the service from 2.30pm.
