Nationally recognized cultural icon, Crawford Alexis from the community of Lagoon, Portsmouth has died.

Alexis was known for playing the Accordion as a member of the Capuchin Jing Ping Band. He also played for various groups around the island and will be remembered as the musician for Prime Minister Skerrit when he graced the stage some years ago, dancing quadrille.
