At a ceremony last weekend, the Dominica Cancer Society, gave awards to faithful contributors who have been instrumental in the society’s efforts.
Individual tokens of appreciation went to Tina Alexander and Dr. Midallia Marie Cognette, for their contributions over the years.

Business such as Jolly’s Pharmacy, Fort Young Hotel and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) were also awarded.
Dr. Valda Henry, the featured speaker, addressed participants on the topic, “A Beacon of Hope, Help and Support”.The Cancer Society continues to be that beacon of hope, help and support for those who are diagnosed with this dreadful disease.
