Call for Creative Submissions for World Creativity and Innovation Day 2025

A hub of artistic expression, the Caribbean remains a source of innovation, and cultural resilience. From the rhythmic beats of steelpan to the vibrant strokes of  painters, the region’s vibrant spirit continues to shape our identity and fuel our economy. Now, in an era where sustainability is key to progress, it is more important than ever that Caribbean creatives are recognized as a driving force behind transformative change.

EcoShores Sustainable Futures Network (ESFN) is proud to announce a call for submissions in honor of World Creativity and Innovation Day 2025. We are inviting all Caribbean creatives – photographers, videographers, and artists to share their vision of sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment which will be featured in the May 2025 publication of the Endeavour.

Caribbean Creativity is Essential – The intersection of arts, technology, and innovation has the power to drive social change, and empower communities to advocate for equity, combat climate change, loss and damage. Creativity is a solution-driven force that fosters resilience, amplifies cultural heritage, and unlocks new economic opportunities for the region’s future.

When we recognize and support Caribbean creatives, we invest in a new wave of sustainability leaders—individuals who can bridge the gap between tradition, technology and harness digital storytelling to advocate for change, and develop dynamic solutions to environmental challenges. One of the best ways to promote development is to encourage and inspire creativity.
