Chairman of the Dominica Reparations committee, Dr. Damien Dublin, has again issued a call for Black History to be taught in Schools.
Dr. Dublin says, “It is the hope of the committee that systems will be put in place because we have all the information available, we have the people who have done things,…the base is there. It’s a matter of we as a nation embracing that and giving support to it”.
Dublin credited the UWI for the work being done to further the agenda of Black History and says that Kalinago history and culture must also included in the curriculum at our schools.
