The Attorney General, Levi Peter, announced on the Dominica Broadcasting Radio on Wednesday evening that a State of Emergency is in effect in Dominica from April 1 to April 20.

A night time curfew is in effect from 6 pm to 6 am while a daytime curfew will be further clarified tomorrow.

A weekend curfew is in effect from 6pm Friday evening to 6am Monday morning. Persons who provide essential services are exempt and others who seek written permission.

Persons are encouraged to remain at home at all times if they do not need to access essential services. These measures are in place to fight against the dreadful COVID-19
