Saint Lucia police are investigating the fatal shooting of an adult male from Dominica. The deceased has been identified as a farmer originally from the town of Portsmouth, Dominica, but resided in Saint Lucia.
His lifeless body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds on a dirt road in the Mahaut/Latille area of Micoud on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. The Micoud Police Station received the report around 1 p.m.
