Breaking News: CXC Pushes Back Exams By Three Weeks

The Caribbean Examination Council, CXC, has extended the start this year’s CSEC and CAPE exams by three weeks.

The extension follows weeks of lobbying by the Education Ministry and other stakeholders for the regional exams to be pushed back.

Exams were set to get underway on May 2. Exams will now begin on May 23rd 2022. In addition, SBA Submissions were also extended to June 30th 2022

A press conference was held today where the announcement was made.

The speaker panel included Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, Chairman, Dr. Wayne Wesley, Registrar and CEO, and Dr. Nicole Manning, Director of Operations, Examinations Services.
