The Dominica Bar Association (DBA) held its Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Project Debate on the topic ‘Dominica should have a sex offenders register’ on Thursday at the UWI Open Campus auditorium.
Students of the Dominica State College displayed true ingenuity and sportsmanship as they debated each other and raised thought-provoking discussion from the audience. In the end, proponents Jade Lindsay and Khalil Richards beat opponents Sky George and Debbie Daway.
Sky George was awarded Best Speaker. The debate was well received by those in attendance and the listening and viewing audience.
