Death Announcement of 60 year old Leroy Derrick Jno Lewis also known as Jean Louis, LJ, Chéri, Coach or teacher of Soufriere

 It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Derrick Jno Lewis age 60 of Soufriere also known as Jean Louis,LJ, Chéri, Coach or teacher among the many. He departed the earth on Tuesday,  June 25th, 2024 at the Dominica-China-Friendship Hospital.

A son, brother, husband, father, friend, teacher and coach, he will surely be missed. He was born under the sign of Virgo on 22nd September 1963.

He left to mourn his:

Loving wife– Stephana  Jno Lewis

Children- Malissa and Brice Jno Lewis

Brothers including– Jim, Selwyn Jr, Val, Maximain, Raymond, Mc Intyre, Ernest  & Julius

Sisters including– Valina, Valda & Petula

Father-in-law– Bosuite Jervier

Brothers in law– David, Francis and Robin

Sisters-in-law– Josephine, Jacqueline, Melina, Prisca, Julenta and Corinthia

Aunts– Martina, Julianna, Florence, Catherine, Bernadette

Uncle: Sambo

Nieces and nephews including– Vince, Tammika, Shirlon, Ackel,  Morrison, Michelle, Shernik,  Raisa, Mackisha, Mia, Marvin, Ackella, Valrick, Naje’, Thia, Zayne

Cousins including– Joyce, Janice, Ernest, Shirley and children.

Close Friends including– Wellington, Bevin, Frankie, Kent, KP, Cleve, Carlton

Loving neighbors including- Jamsey & Rodettte

He will be remembered by the Jno Lewis Family, Jervier Family, Lewis Family, Tavernier family and Williams family, the entire community of Soufriere, Scott’s Head and Gallion, the staff and students/past students of the Soufriere Primary School, Junior Secondary Programme and the Goodwill Secondary School, members of Dominica Association of Teachers, Dominica Cricket Association and Sports Division and other friends and associates too numerous to mention.

The funeral service of the late Leroy Derrick Jno Lewis will be held on Friday 2nd August, 2024 from 3:00pm, viewing will be at 2:30p.m at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Church.  Interment at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Cemetery.
