It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of 83 year old Sylvia Etienne Augustine, affectionately known as Nado of Mahaut who resided in Jimmit.
She leaves to mourn her husband: Leslie Augustine
Four sons: Curtis Victor, Julius Jefferson Maloon and Francis Don Augustine in Dominica and Gerald Cecil Maloon in St. Maarten.
Four grandchildren: Neishia, Curt and Briana Victor in Dominica and Geraldo Maloon in Holland.
One great grandchild: Gereylys Maloon in Holland
Daughters in law: Monica Maloon in St. Maarten and Maureen Lewis in Dominica
Three nieces: Centura, Cynothia and Cecilia Ferreira and family
Two nephews: Manley and Jacob
Grand-nieces including Christina Charles and Philcia George
Caretaker: Julietta Roberts
Her many neighbors and friends including: Magdalene and Matthew Williams, Agatha Pinard and family, Rosaline Williams, Marcia Dublin, Anora, Ma Tatan and Athline Maloon. Children and grandchildren of Marie and Ignatia Augustine both in Dominica and overseas.
The body of our beloved Mrs. Sylvia Etienne Augustine will be transported from North Eastern Funeral Home for viewing at 9:30am on Saturday 9th December at the St Martin De Pores Catholic Church in Canefield. Funeral Mass begins at 10am, followed by interment at the Mahaut Burial Grounds.
