Dominica’s World Creole Music Festival will feature a Festival Village that is well-equipped to meet the demands of attendees looking for scrumptious local food, drinks, local products, and entertainment in between main stage events. The Festival Village will be situated in the forecourt of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
Each night will feature a different genre through a house band, local acts, popular DJs, and traditional and cultural entertainment. The theme for Friday night will be Afro-Caribbean music, followed by soca and bouyon on Saturday night, and calypso music on Sunday night.
Patrons can expect a high energy vibe with delicious food and drink, through 16 food vendors each serving different cuisines and delicacies. The popular 360 video experience will be provided by Crown Images. The village will include a craft section, business section, and a print shop for the printing of
branded T-shirts. Dominica’s Carnival costume bands will also be on site to enable registration.
Additionally, there will be a strong emphasis on wellness with the inclusion of the Festival Village Wellness Area. Festival goers can expect to be pampered with relaxing massages by Éclat Nova Luxuries and The Glam Experience Day Spa. With a tropical beach atmosphere and actual sand, the on-site spa will replicate a Tranquility Beach environment. Wellness gift products made from local herbs and botanical extracts will also be available for purchase with the branded logos of the World Creole Music Festival and Éclat Nova Luxuries.
