It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, George Bannis. He was better known as, Beetle of Castle Bruce, and last resided in Salisbury. He was 58 years old when he died at his residence on Monday 3rd October, 2022.

Father – Gregoire Bannis in Castle Bruce.
Sister – Gertrude Bannis Charles in Antigua.
5 brothers– Edison Joseph in the USA, Felix and Skef in Antigua, Gibbs Emerson in St. Kitts, and Simpson Bannis in St. Marten.
Nieces– Shernique and Sherrel Charles in Antigua, and Shamara Bannis in St. Kitts.
Nephews– Megan and Jason in Dominica, Edison Jr. Joseph in England, Gibson in St. Kitts, and Moody Charles Jr., Skef Jr., Skeffon, and Shamar Bannis in Antigua
Sisters-in-law- Alix Joseph in the USA and Sharon Bannis in Antigua
Brother-in-law- Moody Charles Sr. in Antigua.
Aunts: Mewess and Catherine in Roseau Theresa in Marigot, Rayma in St. Marten, Dora in the USA, Perpetua, Rustica, Juliana and Jovita in the French Island, and Julia in the USA

The Home Going Service of George Bannis will take place on 5th November, 2022 at the Marigot Public Cemetery. Viewing of the body will be at 9am and Service at 10 am.
The family of the late George Bannis also wishes to extend sincere thanks to all those who prayed, visited and assisted in any way during the time of bereavement. May God bless you all.
