The media will have the opportunity to question officials of the Alternative Peoples Party (APP) for the first time since its establishment.
A live media conference will be convened at the HighGrade Bar Resort in Lalay Coco on Tuesday January 12, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00am.
This event will mark APP’s 1st year. The party was formed on January 12, 2020 with a Founders’ Conference, and the official website was established on May 11 of that same year. Four Interim Executive members: Tahira Blanchard, Sharon Vidal, Kendra Stephen and Sherlyn Sabaroche were also introduced as administrators of the party’s affairs.
Since May 2020, APP has hosted over fifty (50) meet the people projects and the party is now a well-known Dominican political brand. The party’s major objective is to build a coalition which will chart the course to greater progress in opposition politics. The team brings a different, and more inclusive approach to politics.
The agenda for Tuesday’s audio-visual media event is as follows:
App salutes all those who have embraced the party’s brand, especially family and friends, members, supporters, defenders, donors, as well as opponents and sceptics. The party pledges to be a permanent, progressive fixture in Dominica’s politics, and will always be an alternative force for decency and good, both in and out of government.
