Today is regarded locally as Bouyon Day in honor of the traditional music which is home to Dominica.

DThe day was pioneered by the national Radio station DBS Radio and according to program manager, Ivona Jno. Baptiste Lugay, radio stations are expected to play Bouyon Music all throughout the day and there will be a panel discussion later this evening.
