The Ministry of Agriculture held a workshop on Monday at the Gatraway Hotel to review the Agriculture Disaster Risk Management Plan for Dominica.

Director of Agriculture, Ricky Brumant, said that the Government has an overarching theme to make Dominica the first climate resilient country in the world. Therefore every citizen must play his part in ensuring that this happens.

He says that climate resiliency will help build sustainability, secure livelihoods, ensure that rural space is coherent from a social standpoint and ensure that employment is created and poverty is reduced.
