The communities of Wesley and Woodfordhill mourns the death of Jamal James of Wesley who taught at the North East Comprehensive (NECS).

Jamal who went for a swim in the sea at Woodfordhill Beach, encountered difficulties and could not make it back to shore. His lifeless body was fished out of the sea by some young men who refused to give up until Jamal’s body was found.

Jamal is remembered as a respectable young man who was very close to his father.
