Wayne ‘Benjie’ Benjamin of the popular Triple K International, is one of the candidates in the Roseau City Council Elections.

Benjamin’s focus will be on true and honest representation for the people. He describes himself as a people’s person with a vision.

Benjamin said that growing up in Fond Cole nurtured his leadership qualities and skills. He says that he has a genuine concern for those in need and has reached out to help everyone he could without hesitation.

“Sometimes my passion for others has caused me much personal grief but I have never relented.” He says, “My genuine concern for others is what I think makes me a most fitting candidate for election to the Roseau City Council. Local Government is the “hands-on/on the ground” approach to community activism and individualized assistance and by nature, this is where I shine”.

Benjie says that a position on the city council will afford him the opportunity to work for the people and lobby for policies that would improve their lives.

The city council elections will take place on November 18.
