74 Graduates CBSS;  Valedictorian Dreamt Of Being His Class Valedictorian

74 Students graduated from the Castle Bruce Secondary School on Friday, July 10, 2020.

The graduation ceremony celebrated the students who successfully completed five years of Secondary School Education.

Class Valedictorian, Mr.Edgar Harris says, “It has always been a dream of mine to be the valedictorian and with the help of my family, friends and teachers, it has finally become a reality. I am really happy to know that I’ve made all of them proud.”

Salutatorian, Ms. Mekaela Royer knows that this is not the end. She says, “Well, I feel proud of my accomplishments and that I could make my mother see that her hard work paid off, but I know that this is just the beginning and that I have to work even harder to excel in CXC as well”.

Head Girl and Student of the Year, Courtney McDonald says, “Student of the year was something that I expected. I had no doubt that it wouldn’t have been me. I worked really hard and I made sure that I really put my self out there. I didn’t do what I did because I wanted an award, no, I did it because being Head Girl, being a leader is something I’m passionate about and I’m good at. I’m really proud of myself, I feel encouraged to do better , to do great. It doesn’t stop here.

The graduation ceremony was held under the theme” Nothing can dim the light that shines from within. Attorney at Law, Joel Paris had the honor of delivering the feature address.
