Sixty-eight families from the Cottage Constituency received keys to their newly built homes constructed under the Government’s Housing Expansion Programme.
The Keys were handed over at a ceremony on Sunday 29, December at 4:00 PM.Prime Minister and Minister for Housing, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit said that this is a wonderful way for families to welcome the new year. He said that the homes are resilient being fully concrete buildings with concrete roofs, and colored galvanize for aesthetic beauty.
The Prime Minister also cautioned citizens against the spirit of ingratitude which he says is present in Dominican society.
