The National Calypso Competition will take place on Saturday 22, February at Carnival City. This year is a defining moment in Calypso history as many calypsonians are up to break records.
Reigning Monarch King Dice is set to become the only King to have won 10 crowns if he wins on Saturday, De Observer will make it his third, De Hunter his fifth, Karessah his fourth Bobb his second and Tasha P her second, should anyone one of them take home the crown or will Jay dee take it home for the first time. The other competitors will be looking to add their names to history as the one to have stopped Dice from achieving that tenth crown.
