The Achievement Learning Center held its first ‘The Princess Within Pageant’ on Friday.
Yousemaline Ger, Shakira Moise, Elizabeth James, Marissa Guiste and Nadege Desbonnes, students of the ACL wowed the crowd as they paraded in Casual wear, Creole Inspired wear and Princess wear.
Director of the ACL, Beverly Leblanc said that students with learning disabilities have no problem integrating into society but it is society who has the problem of understanding them. She thanked the parents for allowing their girls to participate in the pageant and promised that it will become an annual event.
