The annual event of the Dominica Cancer Society dubbed Walk For Cancer Care will be changed this year to Drive For Cancer Care.
President of the Dominica Cancer Society, Yvonne Alexander said that the Drive For Cancer Care is carded for October 4, 2020, and will be held under the theme, “I am and I will Support Cancer Care”.
She said, “Some of the colors on the t-shirts will depict the main concerns affecting individuals in Dominica; pink for breast cancer, teal for cervical cancer and navy blue for prostate cancer, which affects our men.”

The change was made in order to facilitate the social distancing protocols brought on as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
