This afternoon, at 5 PM the Waitu Cirque is hosting its very first ‘Tree Show’ Extravaganza, a free-of-charge spectacular of Dominica’s acrobatic talents.
Waitu Cirque is a non-profit partnership between the German Circative and local circus arts students, meaning acrobats from both countries are both teaching and learning from one another.
The Cirque usually practises at the Botanical Gardens in Roseau and Mero Beach on weekends. It is their wish that this show can become a regular monthly occasion for them to reveal their skills and receive support from the public.
Everyone, from all ages and social circles, is welcome to come see the creative show and even register for the Cirque.
Not only is acrobatics an exhilarating activity, but it helps to sharpen dexterity, boost learning, focus, and protect from several heart- and bone-related illnesses. So come and enjoy this afternoon’s performance and maybe even join the Waitu Cirque yourself!
