Updated Death Announcement of 60-year-old Leandra Ellen Henderson, nee Xavier affectionately known as Lily of Bath Estate

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of 60-year-old Leandra Ellen Henderson, nee Xavier, affectionately known as Lily, of Bath Estate, who died on September 16th, 2024, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

She left to mourn: 

Husband: Edward Henderson

Children: Giselle Honore, Orel, Migel, Lyndel and Gabrielle

Grandchildren: Skylar, Zariah, K’rel and Kamari

Son in Law: Dexter Honore 

Brothers-in-law: Anselm, Dominique, Anthony and family, Sylvester and families

Sisters-in-law: Rosemary Williams, Jennifer Soldiew, Jessica Joseph, Catherine St. Rose, Frances Allen, JoAnne White and families

Aunts: Cecilia Docteur and family in France, Ericka Rigot and family in Guadeloupe

Uncles: Eustace Charles in Guadeloupe and Andrew Pinard and family in Dominica

Cousins: Desry Parker and family, Joanne Skerrett, Allison and family, Sally-Ann Joseph and family, Herman, Jeff and family, Ian Joseph and family, The Dennis family in St. Joseph including Ma Toofey, Octavia and Augustina and families

The funeral service will be held at the Massacre Church of Christ, on Tuesday October 8th, 2024. Viewing will be from 2:30pm and the service will commence at 3:00pm. Interment will take place at the Roseau Public Cemetery.

The family of the late Leandra Henderson wishes to express profound gratitude to all those who have expressed sympathies during this time of loss.
