The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force(CDPF) is conducting investigations into a road Fatality which occurred on the Pichelin public road about 6:30 PM on January 30, 2021.

The collision involved truck registration #TJ109 which was being driven by Nassief Lloyd of Pichelin and motor scooter TP427 driven by Dennon Alexander of Grandbay.

According to official reports, the motor scooter was over taking another vehicle when it collided with the truck. The driver fell from the scooter and sustained serious injuries.

Alexander was transported to the Grandbay Health Center and then the National Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
