The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force has confirmed that the body found earlier has been identified as 47 year old James Defoe of Grand Bay. He was found hanging from his roof by his sister at about 9:30 Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the body was in an advance state of decomposition.
The body was pronounced dead by Dr. Fevrier.

James resided in a small wooden building behind the bus stop in the three road in Grand Bay close to the Pierre Charles Secondary School.
