The first-ever Caribbean Youth Forum on Drug Use Prevention will be held from October 21-25 in Barbados under the theme, ‘Youth Seeds into Leader Trees’.

The forum organized by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) seeks to establish drug use prevention initiatives in each participating country.

Dominica will be represented by Jolene Louis, Nitchelle Jno. Charles and Shakima Remy. The participants say that they are privileged and honored to have been chosen to represent Dominica and hope that whatever they learn will be implemented to help curb the problem of drug use.
