A Dupigny is the number one source for fabric in Dominica, and have given their customers who include designers, dressmakers, and seamstresses an opportunity to highlight their creations with the first-ever Dupigny’s Cuts. Dupigny’s Cuts will be an annual event that will showcase creations in a friendly competition comprising of two rounds; a mannequin challenge and a fashion show.
Four participants registered to take part this year; Hydy Pierre of Mahaut, Dania Thomas of Portsmouth, Fabiola Francis of Bath Estate and Bernadette Royer of Penville. The winner will receive a brand new sewing machine, tools, gift certificates and a feature spread in the establishment’s newsletter in the month of August.
L.A Dupigny hopes that this event will give its customers additional exposure and create more employment opportunities in the field of clothing and textiles.
The event will be held on July 26, 2019 at 5:30pm at Caribbean Lifestyles located upstairs L.A Dupigny Fabric store in Roseau. Event is also sponsored by Pirates.
