The Spa Therapist/Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the SPA and provide professional wellness therapies, beauty treatments and massage treatments to our Guests and clients.
Primary Duties
- Perform different spa services such as body treatments, massages, facials, pedicure and manicure
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the SPA and supervise SPA staff
- Ensure Spa equipment is in working order and report faulty equipment to maintenance for repair
- Maintain inventory of products
- Manage guests and client records
- Manage and keep the SPA cleaned and stocked
- Suggest treatments to guests based on their needs
- Upsell where appropriate
- Adhere to hygiene standards and health and safety regulations
- Stay up to date with latest trends and best practices
- Attend educational seminars and training
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or current license in aesthetics or physiotherapy
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spa Coordinator or similar role
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Spa Therapist with experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, and other face and body beauty treatments
- Experience with sales preferred
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-oriented, friendly but professional approach
- Positive attitude and patience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
