Death Announcement of Roland George Better known as “Mesh” • Aged 59 of Glanvillia

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Roland George, better known as

“Mesh,” aged 59 of Glanvillia. He passed away on Friday, 23rd October 2026, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his father, Scotland George; mother, Myrtle “Ma Pepet” George;

and sister, Catherine Peter (also known as Olivia Harney).

He is survived by:

• Adopted Daughter: Shernice Hilton

• Brothers: Quland, Oliver, Michael, and Rolston George

• Sisters: Olivette Joseph and Scotlyn George

• Brother-in-law: Ken Joseph Sr.

• Sisters-in-law: Anita and Rhona

• Nephews: Irvin, Ken Jr., and Owen Sr.

• Nieces: Cathy, Edithe, Nella, Kenisha, and Nicole

• Nephews-in-law: Alexandre and Ivor

• Niece-in-law: Sophia

• Grand-nephews & Grand-nieces: Lia, Christopher, Nathan, Katussia, Cindy, Brenda,

Bradeley, Mathilda, Edwyn, Nellianne, Thibault, Valentin, Jahkim, Shakim, and Owen Jr.

• Uncles: Tony Peter, Cleveland George, and Eddiland George

• Aunt: Beverlyn George-Edwards

• Viewing: Monday, 2nd November 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Portsmouth Anglican Church

• Service: Funeral service begins promptly at 1:30 PM

• Interment: Portsmouth Anglican Cemetery
