It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we at Starrin & Sons, are mourning the untimely passing of our colleague and dear friend, Jameson “Fruitsy “ Defoe who tragically and quite prematurely passed away in the early hours of Monday May 20, 2024 due to a traffic accident.

Fruitsy as he was well known and affectionately called was a member of team Starrin and Sons, for the past 13 years and he will be missed by us all. His  absence will be profoundly felt by the company, staff, customers and  all who had the privilege of interacting with him.    We will always remember Fruitsy for his jovial spirit, warm smile, and kind-heartedness.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Fruitsy’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We ask that you respect their privacy as they navigate through their grief.

In honour of Fruitsy, Starrin & Sons will be making a yearly contribution towards the education of his young son, during the formative years of his primary school education.

Fruitsy will be sorely missed by us at Starrin & Sons but the good times and memories we shared with him will certainly live on.

 May his soul rest in eternal peace.
