Prime Minister of Dominica, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit announced at a press conference on Thursday that as part of the fight against the deadly Coronavirus, standpipes will be reinstated at key areas around the capital city of Roseau.
He said that standpipe attendants will be employed and provided with soap, towels and the like to man the standpipes. The attendants will receive training from the Health officials so that they may encourage persons to wash their hands in the proper manner.
The proposed areas for the standpipes include the Roseau Market and at every bus stop in the town.
