The Department of Nursing of All Saints University School of Medicine sends solidarity greetings to all health care workers in Dominica on the commemoration of World Health Day 2020.
We in particular salute the hard working nurses of Dominica who continue to live by their pledge to take care of the sick – even when this means exposing themselves and their families to the risk of infectious diseases like Covid-19.
You exemplify the words attributed to Aristotle “Where the needs of the world and your talent cross, there lies your vocation”.
We thank you for your dedication and service to humanity. We applaud your courage in the midst of adversities.
As a department we will continue to provide whatever support is possible within our own limitations. We promise to continue preparing qualified professionals who will join you on the “battlefield” of health care delivery.
