I Have a Right Foundation is partnering with Vision Voice Inc. to present an exceptional opportunity for students to engage and explore the field of software engineering.
The Discovery – Journey Program aims to steer students, especially girls, towards STEM fields by addressing inequitable access to resources and education while motivating them to success through mentorship. Students will get exposure to high paid career opportunities through mentorship with experts and University Students in that field.
Vision Voice Inc. is a US based Organization, hence the program will be facilitated online. Students will gain knowledge and skills which will prepare them for a future career and/or financial opportunities in technology.
The program officially begins in February, 2022 and takes place on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM. The course is self-paced and students will be paired with mentors who are software engineering professionals from renowned organizations such as Google.
The criteria which applicants must meet to be considered are:
Student must be between the ages of 12 and 16.
Student must have an 80% or higher average in Mathematics for the last school year.
Students must have completed some level of algebra or pre -algebra
Student must have an interest in computer science and mathematics
Interested applicants should fill out and submit the online registration form provided. Teachers are also encouraged to recommend students to the program.
