Sixteen Dominicans to Pursue Studies in Cuba

Sixteen (16) more students will leave soon to pursue studies in Cuba. The students received their acceptance certificates on Monday at the Cuban Embassy. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education encouraged the students to represent Dominica well when they go out there.

The students will pursue studies in varied disciplines. Medical studies will be pursued by Chilasa Dyer, Bopsie Francis, Kaimi Guiste, Isaiaha Lawrence, Chelcia Lewis, Donna Liverpool, Tiffani Mason, Solana Tuitt, Kimmel Wayland, and Kyannah Jeffery. While Allison Abel-Seaman and Dwayne Laville will pursue post-graduate studies in medicine and Sarah Prentice will study Nursing. Other fields of study will be undertaken by Annisha Burton, Francine Julius, and Krishen Alexander.
