The Rotary Club of Dominica was on Wednesday engaged in its long-time tradition of feeding the residents of Community Hostel Inc, commonly known as the Grotto Home.
President-elect, Delbert Paris said that one of the reasons the club is engaged in this activity is to remember these citizens who once were active contributors to Dominica’s development, but who are sometimes forgotten since they are unable to be as active in society.
The Rotarians showed up in large numbers and were involved in serving the food. Musical entertainment was provided by Atherton and Julian Martin.
President of Community Hostel Inc, Ainsworth Irish, and matron at Community Hostel Inc, both expressed gratitude on behalf of the organization. President of the club, Lyma Jervier, said that this is what they love to do as Rotarians.
