Following his conviction for murder in 2020 of his ex-girlfriend, Triscia Riviere, Rodman Moses Lewis was virtually sentenced today February 25th 2022 to 18 years, 8 months and two weeks imprisonment at the Dominica State Prison.
On November 3rd 2015, Lewis murdered his ex-girlfriend with a gas cylinder at her residence in Stock Farm. After pleading not guilty to the offence, he was convicted of murder five years later on November 19 2020.
While the prosecution sought to obtain the death penalty, Lewis was spared the harshness of the court.
Today, he appeared before High Court Judge, Justice Wynante Adrien-Roberts who sentenced him to imprisonment and granted no death penalty.
