The Dominican music scene has welcomed dynamic acapella group Reflexion Vocal Band.
The Band originates from the village of St.Joseph (with one member from Petite Soufriere) and is made up of family and friends. The group boasts the high-eagle-soaring soprano, Ms. Fernella Luke, smooth tenor Mr. Neilon Vidal, souful stylistic Alto Mrs. Keri-Ann Jb George, power-House baritone Sir.Belden Jno Baptiste and the beautiful bass of Jayran Jno.Baptiste.
Jayran Jno.Baptiste, leader and founder of the band says that the group made history with the release of its debut album being the first acapella album to be released in Dominica by a Dominican group.
He explains that the name Reflexion came from a desire to reflect the character of God- His love, joy and happiness to everyone. They sing Acapella because they believe that the most versatile instrument is the human voice.The group’s debut album was released on August 17, 2020, and has been digitally distributed to all music streaming and downloading platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.
