PSU Calls on Government To Make An Offer To Appease Members

The Public Service Union (PSU) began industrial action last week with a two-day sickout which began on Wednesday.

General Secretary of the PSU, Thomas Letang, says that on the PSU has received a response from the Government stating that “offered nothing” and “wasn’t anything new”. As such public officers have decided to demonstrate on Wednesday 27, November at 2:00 pm at the arch near the E.C Loblack Bridge.

The PSU executive is expected to meet with the Government’s negotiating team again on Thursday and apprise the general membership of the Government’s offer that same day.
