Shannon Connor St.Hillaire, contestant #7 in the Miss Dominica Pageant 2020 was the first to receive sponsorship to facilitate her participation in the pageant.
Connor who is sponsored by Jungle Bay Resort and spa was officially sashed by the proprietor of Jungle Bay, Mr. Sam Raphael.
St.Hillaire who hails from the village of Soufriere said that she intends to use the Miss Dominica platform to broaden the conversation on climate change and environmental degradation.
