The secondary schools table tennis competition came to a close on Wednesday at the Goodwill Parish Hall.
At the end of Day One of the competition, the Portsmouth Secondary School (PSS) won a number of top positions in the various categories.
PSS walked away with first place positions in Under 14 Boys and Girls, Under 16 Girls and placed second in Under 14 Boys and Girls and Under 16 Girls. The PSS team was also able to deny the DSC Mixed Doubles champions as Jeydan Hamilton and Starr Humphreys took first place.
North East Comprehensive walked away with first and second positions in Under 16 Boys and second place in Under 20 Boys and Girls.
The Dominica State College captured the top position in Under 20 Boys and Girls.
PSS was not finished yet however as Sandra Joseph came ready on Day Two to win the Open Singles Championship.
