The Rotary Club of Portsmouth in collaboration with Rotary Clubs in Florida and Barbados and All hands and Heart Charity has donated computers, charging stations and wifi routers to the Paix Bouche Primary School and kitchen supplies to the Savanne Paille Primary School.

The Club also anticipates another donation of 1600 more computers to be received in November to benefit other schools on the island. The estimated value of the donation is  EC$35,000.

The principals of the schools expressed gratitude to the organizations and promised that they will secure the computers and kitchen supplies and ensure that they are put to good use.

The  Rotary Club observes September as Basic Education and Literacy Month.
