On Saturday 13th March 2021, the parish priests of St. Ann and St. Joseph, Father Elton Letang and Father Jacky Merillan, respectively, planned a youth retreat for the young people of their parishes.
The retreat which was held at St.Clement’s House began at 9 am with worship. Then, Father Jacky spoke to the young people on the topic of Lent, with respect to their life and their role in the family and society.
Youth leader of the St.Ann parish, Shervin Dominique said, ” I am echoing the sentiments of youth in attendance when I say the retreat was enlightening. I would like to express gratitude to Father Jacky and Father Elton for sharing their time and talents, in the planning and execution of such a wonderful retreat. I also take this opportunity to encourage the young people to draw closer to God during this Lenten season by taking part in their parish retreats and church services. Without God, we are nothing in this world. Take heed and make an effort to know Him more intimately”.
