Portsmouth man sentenced to two years imprisonment for theft at local grocery store

One male adult of Glanvilla, Portsmouth appeared before Magistrate Bernard Pacquette on February 24th 2022 at the Portsmouth Magistrates Court, for having committed the crime of theft.

The accused had allegedly stolen items amounting to the total value of XCD$5,185.50 at the ITZ Tru grocery shop in Portsmouth on July 5th 2021.

Upon pleading guilty, he was sentenced to two years imprisonment by Magistrate Pacquette.

Further, Pacquette advised him to refrain from theft and to avoid facing another sentence before this court.
