Police Says Zero Tolerance For Misbehavior During Mas

Deryck ‘De Hunter’ St. Rose who is a police officer by profession and a member of the Dominica Calypso Association (DCA) took the opportunity at a press conference on Wednesday to inform the public that the Police Force has a zero tolerance for those who want to misbehave during ‘Da Real Mas celebrations’.’

He said, “As a police officer, we’re asking everybody to go out there and have a peaceful, clean carnival. I want the public to know that the police will take a no nonsense approach … We want nobody to disrespect anybody, nobody to prevent anybody from having a good time”.

Referring to persons who are caught misbehaving, St.Rose said, “We will lock you up, and bring you before the court and send you up. There’s no too ways about it”.

St.Rose encouraged everyone to come out and have fun as we have done in previous years.
