The Paix Bouche Primary School PTA has once again brought together women from across Dominica for its 2nd Annual Woman to Woman event—an uplifting and empowering experience that filled the school’s venue to capacity.
The event featured heartfelt testimonies from women who shared stories of triumph, challenges, and achievements. Among this year’s powerful speakers were Delia Cuffy Weekes, Natalie Joseph, Kimara Hurtault, Dr. Timbi Wallace, and Mrs. Knight-Didier.
Emonews caught up with PTA President Mrs. Ginelle Ferrol, who shared that the event continues to grow in impact and reach. “We’re already looking ahead to episode number three,” she revealed with excitement.
Attendee Nikiter Toussaint Telemaque praised the event, calling it “both engaging and deeply informative.” She added, “Too often, we admire the end result without knowing the process. Many of these women don’t look like what they’ve been through—proof of strength, grace, and resilience.”
The celebration also featured cultural and musical performances from reigning Calypso Monarch Joy Stoute, Tasha P, Marsha Augustine, and the Reigning Junior Bouyon Monarch, Moxy Shervy.
The school’s principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to the PTA, the local community, and sponsors who made the event possible. Woman to Woman continues to be a beacon of inspiration for Dominican women, celebrating the power of shared stories and sisterhood.
