14 individuals from the town of Portsmouth were charged for disobeying the curfew order which instituted a total lockdown last weekend.
Videos which surfaced showed the individuals in what would appear to be a “Wet Fete”.
The individuals were charged $500 each to be paid immediately. Failure to pay would result in 1 month imprisonment.
While the individuals were apologetic, Magistrate Bernard Pacquette gave them a stern warning and reminded them that their actions were putting themselves as well as others at risk
